KBD: Recycling Solutions for PVC Building Products

In the new issue of the Kommunaler Beschaffungsdienst (KBD) a new article about recycling solutions for PVC building products will be published. The AGPU created the advertorial as part of a VinylPlus® communication project on green public procurement and placed it in the decision-maker magazine. This topic is relevant for public procurers at federal states, local level as well as companies from the waste and disposal industry and contract advisory services.

The magazine (only available by subscription) is published mid May 2019. We will be happy to provide you with the advertorial in German language on request after publication. Please contact michael.friedrichs@agpu.com.

KBD: New special publication on sustainable building

Our advertorial from the April/May issue of Kommunaler Beschaffungsdienst (KBD) is now available as a special reprint. The topic is sustainable building with PVC and the resource and energy efficiency of the material. The advertorial and the special print are part of the joint VinylPlus® communication project for green public procurement.

In the past, AGPU has already published several articles and advertorials in German as well as special reprints. These are used for specific target groups and can be used by AGPU and VinylPlus members for trade fairs and customer events, for example.

KBD: New advertorial on sustainable construction

In the current April issue of Kommunaler Beschaffungsdienst (KBD), the AGPU has published an advertorial (including title page) on the topics of sustainable construction and resource and energy efficiency as part of the VinylPlus communication project on green public procurement. The magazine is aimed in particular at decision-makers in municipal administrations and companies.

The AGPU has already published several advertorials in the past years and also had produced special editions. These are used for specific target groups and can be used by AGPU member companies for trade fairs and customer events, for example.

KBD: New Advertorial on PVC Pipes

In the April/May issue of the German procurement magazine „Kommunaler Beschaffungsdienst“ (KBD), AGPU has published an advertorial on the use of PVC pipes in the field of water management as part of the VinylPlus communication project on sustainable public procurement. The specialist magazine is particularly aimed at decision-makers in municipal administration departments and companies.

In the past, AGPU has already produced a multitude of special publications of technical papers featured in various magazines. Specific Requests in Response to Our KDB Report

As part of its Soft PVC Communication Campaign, AGPU was able to publish a detailed report on PVC as a high-performance material in the January/February issue of the magazine „Kommunaler Beschaffungsdienst“ (KBD), which is mainly read by local authorities. The report focused on flexible vinyl floorings for sports facilities and coated membranes for textile architecture. The image of the PVC membrane roof that covers the sports court of a school in Hamburg made it onto the cover of the KBD issue and is thereby prominently promoting the use of PVC.

The issue was sent out to subscribers, including a multitude of decision-makers in communities and local authorities. It seems that AGPU was ‘in the right place at the right time’ when it chose to present this topic given that it has already received three specific enquiries from communities requesting detailed information on the use of PVC products.

VinylPlus communication project: AGPU published new technical papers

AGPU has brought the VinylPlus communication project on sustainable public procurement to a successful end by publishing two further technical papers. The November issue of the German environmental magazine „Umwelt Magazin“ contains a double-page article on the role of PVC within the topic of energy and resource efficiency. This technical paper is also available as a special publication that can be requested from the AGPU office.

Last week, the November issue of the German public procurement magazine „Kommunaler Beschaffungsdienst“ (KBD) will contain a technical paper on PVC recycling. AGPU was also given the opportunity to create the front page design for this issue showing hands with recycled PVC window material.
