K 2019: „Part of the solution, not part of the problem“

Two weeks ago, K 2019 Preview event in Düsseldorf made it clear that the plastics industry is facing major challenges, but will also be presenting its solutions at K 2019. Dr. Rüdiger Baunemann, General Manager of PlasticsEurope Germany and member of the AGPU Executive Board, said that it is now particularly important to inform politicians what is possible with plastics and to show them that bans are no solution. Baunemann was convinced that no company or association can solve this task alone, but only together and with intensive networking. It must be made clear to all those responsible that many sustainable solutions are only possible with plastic and not without it.
