Construction Work on Temporary Buildings for the Climate Conference Begins

Two weeks ago, construction work on the temporary buildings for the International Climate Change Conference (COP 23), which will take place from 6th to 17th November 2017, has begun at the Rheinaue park in Bonn. The Federal Republic of Germany is supporting the Republic of Fuji, which holds presidency of the conference, as the technical host of the event. A new and innovative conference concept has been developed for the COP 23 and is designed to set an example for future climate change conferences, with the entire tent city used for the event being taken down after the conference.

This tent city is sure to also use tents and pavilions made of PVC-coated fabric. We will continue to report on this topic as the event approaches.
